What is Photo Assist?

Photo Assist is an iPhone and Apple Watch app that helps beginners decide how to take a photo. Based on your equipment, scene, light and subject movement, it suggests shutter speed, aperture, ISO and focus settings for cameras, or practical framing, exposure and stability tips for smartphones. You can consult the guidance on your wrist without taking out your phone. Available in English and Spanish, the app provides guidance without controlling your camera.
