Photo Assist privacy policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026. This policy describes Photo Assist for iPhone and Apple Watch. Responsible developer: Sergio W. Onetto, Focal35, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Contact: swonetto@icloud.com.

Data used in the app

The app stores the equipment you configure —name, camera or smartphone type, sensor, lens and settings—, the active equipment, preferences, the latest consultation and favourites. Consultations contain selected shooting conditions and the resulting recommendation. This data personalises the guidance and lets you retrieve consultations.

Storage and synchronisation

Information is stored locally on iPhone or Apple Watch. Equipment profiles, active equipment and consultations are exchanged between paired devices using Apple’s WatchConnectivity technology. Favourites remain local to each device. Photo Assist does not send this information to Focal35 servers or require a user account.

Access and tracking

The current version does not access your photos, camera, microphone, location, contacts or health data. It does not include advertising, advertising tracking or third-party analytics services. We do not sell data stored by the app.

Retention and deletion

Local data is retained while the app is used. You can edit or delete equipment in My equipment. To remove app data, delete the app from both devices using the delete option rather than offloading it while keeping data. Backups and any subsequent restoration are managed through Apple’s settings; Focal35 does not manage those backups.

When you contact support

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve the enquiry; the email service processes that communication. We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to handle the case and meet applicable obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion at the same email address, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

Website and Apple services

This policy covers the app. Forms, cookies and features of f35.ar require a separate assessment. Apple manages distribution, purchases if any, system services and its own privacy practices under its policies.

Updates and enquiries

We will update this page if data practices change. For privacy enquiries, email swonetto@icloud.com.
